Kulmbach is a city in Germany. It is the capital of the
district of Kulmbach in Bavaria in Germany. This is a very significant town for Germany. As all the town of Germany Kulmbach has a long history. But the
long history is not appropriate for this writing. But I will try my best to
write as many things as I can.
This town is located in the middle of the Bavarian
province of Upper Franconia. It is 15.5 miles northwest from another
significant city Bayreuth.
By the German add rules, this city is also divided into
many districts. I am putting the top five districts according to their
population. The population is shown in brackets. (i) Innenstadt (8,655); (ii) Am
Galgenbarg (4,224); (iii) Blaich (2,029); (iv) Petzmannsberg (1,896) & (v)
Burghaig (1,717).
Now come to the history of Kulmbach. It was not Kulmbach
from the beginning. It was first mentioned as Kulma. This city was first
mentioned in a deed of a gift between 1028 and 1040. The Count Arnold of DieBen
acquired this land in the first of the twelfth century. He also built the first
fort of Kulmbach, Plassenbarg Fort. It is a great tourist interest in Kulmbach
town.
After that, the castle or the fort of Plassenbarg was rebuild
and demolished again and again. The reason for this rebuilding and demolishing
of this castle is, it was the main working place of the Klumbach city and many
ruler and dictators acquired or rule over this city. And they redesigned and
rebuilt this castle again and again in their own way.
Kulmbach is famous for many things. It is well-reputed
for its beer. It says that the beer of Kulmbach is the strongest beer in the
world. It is also famous for its unique food variety and culture. The Plassenbarg
museum is famous for its tin army. It has an army of 300,000 soldiers made of
tin metal which is the largest in the world.
