The TV series we are talking about today is an American TV series. You can say it is a comedy series. This series was made for the whole family. So that people can enjoy this series with their families. This series was created by Dan Fogelman and premiered on NBC on September 20, 2016. The series is based on a family and their living. It's mainly based on a couple that had two children and later they adopted an African American black child later named Randall. The actors and actresses got many awards and nominated several times for this series. This series was shot in Los Angles.

The series has a present time frame. But in some places have flashbacks and in later seasons it has later flashbacks as well as present time frame. The series “This Is Us” follows the lives of three adults. They are Kate, Kevin, and Randall are also known as the big three. They are three children of Jack and Rebecca. Kate and Kevin were the survivors of their mother triplets. Well, the question is from where the third one came? The third one's name is Randall and he is black. Jack and Rebecca adopted him the day their other two children were born. When their third child died they adopted Randall who was left by his black father at a fire station. They believed that they were meant to be the parents of three children.

The big three later had their career and they were all good in their lives. Randall Pearson later became a successful finance professional and married his college classmate Beth. Kevin became a successful actor after struggling too much. After lacking direction much of her life, Kate met and married Toby, pursues a career in music, got a degree, and became a mother. That’s the storyline on which the series “This Is Us” is based on.

The first season was aired on September 2016, second was on September 2017, third was aired on September 2018 and the last and latest season aired on September 24, 2019.
