share the details about today’s trending topic “Disc Jockey”. So let’s start!
On my last post, I wrote about language. Today we will
know about the DJ. What is a DJ? To know the answer, stay with me. The language and
the music or song is closely related. And DJ is a music sectors thing.
The full form of DJ is a disc jockey. Most of the
modern people know the thing DJ. But they don’t know the full form of it. So, it’s a piece of information, isn’t it?
The word DJ or disc jockey describes a person who mixes or
turntables the pre-recorded music and performs it to the audience. The audience
can be anywhere. It can be party-people, TV-watching people or radio-listening
peoples. The DJ can also make up his own creation and sale it by the producers.
Club DJ is a type of DJs. There are many types of DJs. Club
DJ is one of them. People commonly know them or call them DJ. They usually
perform at clubs. They usually work there by contract. Some DJs are permanent. And
some, on the other hand, works for a certain amount of time and get paid as their working
time.
Another type of DJ is the resident DJ. They also called by the
name home DJ. That’s because they always work in resident areas. They perform
at occasions like weddings, birthdays and block-parties. They got hired by the
residence and perform there as well as get paid for their work. Usually, there
are no permanent resident DJs. But in some cases, there are.
There are also some other kinds of DJ. They are given
below:
(i) Mobile DJ: a DJ who can
move easily with his or her equipment to anywhere.
(ii)
Producer DJ: a DJ who
produces DJ songs.
(iii)
DJanes: in Germany they
call female DJs as DJanes.
(iv)
Celebrity DJ: celebrity
people perform as DJ.
(v)
Bedroom DJ: a DJ who plays
only in small places like homes and rooms.
